Trad ATX is an inclusive traditional-archery social club where all are welcome, especially the archery-curious. We currently host high-traffic pop-up events with fast, beginner-friendly instruction that makes it easy for anyone to pick up a bow and immediately join the fun.

For Zach, archery is more than a sport, it’s a lifelong passion and a cultural thread. Introduced by his father and shaped by years of competitions, he sees traditional archery as a timeless art form ready for a modern revival.
Recognizing the many barriers to entry into the sport of archery, Zach has developed his own unique teaching system that is simple, comprehensive and gets immediate results for his students.
Zach’s mission is to make traditional archery accessible and inclusive — breaking down barriers that have kept it niche and sharing it as a tool for connection, empowerment, and community.
What to Expect at a Pop-Up
Every TradATX event is designed to be fun, safe, and welcoming to newcomers. You do not need prior experience or equipment. Every session includes a one-on-one lesson with one of our coaches.
We will get you landing center target in minutes.
After your lesson you are free to use our bows and enjoy your new archery skills for the remainder of the event!

Nope! We provide gear but feel free to bring your own - but no draw weights over 40lbs.
