About TradATX
Trad ATX is an inclusive traditional-archery social club where all are welcome, especially the archery-curious. We currently host high-traffic pop-up events with fast, beginner-friendly instruction that makes it easy for anyone to pick up a bow and immediately join the fun.
Meet our resident expert
For Zach, archery is more than a sport — it’s a lifelong passion and a cultural thread. Introduced by his father and shaped by years of target shooting and bowfishing along Texas rivers, he sees traditional archery as a timeless art form ready for a modern revival.
A decorated competitive archer with multiple state and local titles, Zach is equally known for his approachable teaching style. His clear, step-by-step method helps beginners feel confident in minutes while giving experienced archers new ways to refine their form.
Zach’s mission is to make traditional archery accessible and visible — breaking down barriers that have kept it niche and sharing it as a tool for connection, empowerment, and community.
